I was just so pleased to know that Pokemon was still as alive today as it ever was, when my son came home from school and started
quickly speaking about Pokemon tower defence.

For those of you who are not in the know - where have you been?

Only joking - I did not have a clue either and was then told that the latest version v.5.8.1 had now been released!

Basically Pokemon Tower Defence is an excellent strategy game whereby your mission in the game it to help a Professor Oak to stop
attacks of wild Rattata.

You have to catch and then train all your pokemon in order to try to solve the driving force behind the attacks on the tower.

The idea of the game is to strategically position your pokemon characters so that they can not only prevent the attacks on the tower but ultimately your pokemon will evolve and you can use any pokemon that you capture, train them up and add them on to your team.

Pokemon tower defence is was of the most encapsulating games I have played for a long time and my son loves it so much that I really do not mind him playing this online as I believe that it helps to promote forward thinking and planning and is a damn sight better than many of the shoot them up and horrific games that are also available.

Pokemon tower defence is suitable for most age groups and children that are able to use a computer and read well. I would however, encourage parents to try it out too - not only because it is fun but because it is all my son talks about at the moment and I wanted to join in the conversation with him. Which I now do!
